West Virginia Waterfalls:West Virginia is a state in the United States that is located in the Appalachian, Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern regions. And it is known to be the 41st largest state in United States and also it is in the 40th place of the densely populated state of USA. And the city of Charleston is known as the largest city and at the same time the capital of West Virginia.

However, West Virginia has won a special place in the hearts of the tourists that comes to USA from other countries and as well as the local Americans. West Virginia is having lots of places for sightseeing and it includes the natural places as well as the architectural miracles of the forebears of West Virginia. And the heaviness of the water differs from season to season as during the dry season it is quite thin and in the rainy season it is quite thick.

However, it is known to be one of the waterfalls that is having a heavy water flow and it proves to be one of the strongest waterfalls in West Virginia. Douglas Falls is another waterfall that is located near the Blackwater Falls State Park but outside  Thomas town. Douglas Falls is extremely beautiful in the sunny days and it is considered to be one of the most beautiful waterfalls in West Virginia state.

The drop of the waterfall is more than 35 feet and the water gets collected in the pools down the waterfall and they are stuffed with different hues such as red, orange, yellow. That’s why this hasn’t become one of the favorite destinations of the photographers. And it will surely give you one of the most enthralling views that you have ever experienced in your lifetime. So that Douglas Falls can also be named as one of the best West Virginia waterfalls.
